Daily Snail again
Today Daily Mail.
French left-wing politician issues chilling threat to Charles III.
The chilling threat by Jean Luc Melenchon
This is what he actually said.
It's not the right time,' said Jean-Luc Melenchon, a regular presidential candidate and leader of the France Unbowed party, addressing the royal visit.
As usual the Mail have added their slant on what was actually said

Re: Daily Snail again
I think the french autorities have enough on their plate to be going on with and security for King Charles may well be the least of their concerns.
Royals in France. Let's face the media hounded Diana to death. Mind you Edward the VIII lived a life of luxury in France did he not, must have been his connection with his Nazi mates.

As usual James use the scattergun approach to defend your postings when questioned. You bring in totally unrelated items to defend your original posting.

Re: Daily Snail again
Good King Charlie would be a bit daft going to France at the moment, it's a funny old place.
I used to go to a place in Bourdeaux (think that's how it's spelt) Once, I went in the toilet for a wee, a bloke followed me in and went into the crapper. There I was, having a wee, and this good looking girl marched in and banged on the crapper door telling him to hurry because she needed one urgently. While she waited, she sidled over and started talking to me. I ceased weeing due to the shock of it all and left. When the girl returned to the office I tried again because I was still busting, but just couldn't go. I ended up going behind a lorry in the yard.
I wonder if there's some kind of claim to be had for the stress of it all?

Re: Daily Snail again
One of the great things about France if touring you are never far from a toilet, every Aire on major roads has a truck stop car area and a toilet and usually a pinic area. French do not seem to have a problem if they need a wee, pull over and try and be as discrete as possible.

WE have servos on all the freeways, all with adequate facilities.
But we also have many trees along the road side, all get well watered at times..
