Re: wot !No Proof Readers
I was asked to visit my bank manager a year or two back, to discuss online banking. I sat down in the office, and she (sorry, they) asked me to download some things on my phone. "I said I don't know how to", she said "give me your phone and I'll show you". Like a good boy, I laid my Doro phone on her desk, she looked at it and said "that's not a proper phone" I told her it was the only mobile phone I have, but if she would like to pay out for a smart phone I'd try to get to know how to work it.
That done and still not having a smart phone, she said "you'll just have to do your online banking on your home PC". "That's fine" I told her, "but I'll just have to write down all the details, like passwords and things". She then apologised for getting me to attend her office, saying "you can't have online banking now you've told me you have to write those things down".
I asked her how she remembered all her passwords and things? she said "I write most of them down".
I walked out thinking "that went well didn't it". Still got my Doro phone, and quite happy that I don't do online banking.

No idea Ivan, it's a simple mobile flip phone with big numbers for simple people like me, not a smart phone like most people have.

Re: wot !No Proof Readers
But the most important thing is big numbers and letters, lovely phones for the more advanced years.

Don't you love when our so smart leaders of tomorrow use spell check and they give you the americanisation of words, usually with a 'z' not an 's'.
