In Australia we're sitting on some of the world's biggest reserves of gas, coal, uranium and if truth be known oil, but the GREENS who are totally opposed to mining are determined to drive us back to the Stone Age. With the cap on gas prices, they are crowing from the rooftops that this is the end of gas.
They intend to have us powered by wind turbines, solar panels and giant batteries and all driving electric cars all made in China. The cost of rewiring the country to suit these 'sustainable' will involve over 10,000 miles of new high voltage wire and thousands of new pylons (currently being supplied by India).

I often wonder which wonder comics the Greens get their weird and whack ideas from.

Until this year we had a big log burner, but wood was getting a bit hard to get and the price was going up too fast so we stopped using it.
Well next winter Mr and Mrs Green can go swing, wood may well be cheaper than gas.

But here in Victoria we have an abundance of gas much of it tapped and ready for use.
But no, our dictator will not allow it to be used, funny thing is he has gas heating in his house according to the media.

The Greens, so determined to stop all fossil fuels as they call them fly every where in aircraft fueled by kero.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

I wonder if it smelled like a chippy, I had an old Merc diesel which I ran on 50% cooking oil during the spring and summer, smelled just like a chippy

Makes me laugh at the thought of all you clmate sceptics that want to keep burning fosile fuels. Open your damn eyes and brains and think of this? What are you going to leave future generations when all the fosile fuels have depleted and nothing left to power the planet. Oh that is right we will all be pushing up daisy's will we not leaving future generations declaring what a selfish generation we where.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

    Any problem with nuclear Les?
Do you really believe our society can continue on wind turbines and solar panels linked to batteries. What a joke.
Tell it to the Chinese, India and the U.S. irrespective of what that cretin Biden is demanding.

Doesn't seem to be influencing Fukushima's tourist industry James.

And of course with those eternally sinking Maldives (you know, sea rising) 166 resorts currently operating. Not bad eh?

Chernobyl? Bad Russian technology and incompetent operators.
I see Germany firing theirs up again.
