Maybe it is time the Border force and RNLI applied the rule? no Q flag no port entry.

The Q Flag As per INTERCO, the Q flag denotes “My vessel is healthy. I require free pratique”. It is a flag that is hoisted inevitably by all vessels prior to entering the port to denote that the vessel is healthy and disease free and requests clearance. :rolleyes:

good evening, i know xmass will be here shortly, but its no good giving scrooge anymore time to pay up the long overdue 3s 9p and it breaks my heart to see the way you are beding over backwards and going soft on him as i see all you are charging is intrest on the capital sum, but where is the compound intrest, you are obviously feeling some sort of obligation to him because of the xmass period coming around by giving him so much leeway, But remember one thing not everybody has your benevolent spirit and theres plenty of people out there wishing to take rather than give,

In reply to #92, we stopped the boats for two reasons.
One, they were full of illegal so called refugees,
Two, the number that drowned at sea on the crossings was just too much.

The people smugglers did not care if some died at sea, they had their money.
So yes lock them up, any country has the right to say who enters, where, when and by what means.

Of course all these rubber dinghies are taking passengers from the true ferry services.
