Here we go again, the nutters running the asylum.

Apparently 'illegal' immigrants can sue our Government if they are detained for more than 24 hours in a 'Holding Facility' Some from Manston, with the help of lawyers of course, are suing the UK Govt for £6000 each!

Apparently the 12000 Albanian young men who crossed the Channel illegally to be here, can claim political asylum because they are all homosexual minorities and it is illegal in their own country to be a gay man or Lesbian woman. The Albanian Govt has no intention of changing the law even though it is delaying their entry into the EU. No doubt when the football is over we are going to see a lot of people from Qatar joining the queue to get here, but of course with their wealth they will not be coming by boat but will be flying into Manston.

Ivan, its the corrupt Lawyers who advise the immigrants of their rights. Most of the immigrants haven't got a clue about our laws.
The Lawyers are only it to milk the system after all they don't have to pay only us poor sods.

    Hi Ivan
I believe the minute a new law is past there are lawyers who get down to study how to pervert it for gain.

Come and join with our Greens down here in Oz.

Madness is only part of their problem.
They want half of our prisons closed, all cases where there is no physical violence for the guilty to be let go, no records!!!!!!!!

Only those who commit violence should be inside, so drug dealers, robbers etc could do as they like.
No more Bail, trust in the honesty of the accused to do the right thing.

According to them this is working in many other countries.!!!
Well not the USA where they shoot first then interview them at the local morgue.
Or China where the family are charged for the cost of the lead trinket put into the head of the guilty.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Homosexuality is not illegal in Albania, but I do suspect they get a hard time.

Introduction: Albania is a mixed situation for gay and lesbian citizens. On one hand, in February 2010, the Parliament of Albania unanimously approved an all inclusive anti-discrimination law which bans discrimination in on the grounds of various characteristics, including sexual orientation and gender identity. However, on the negative side, according to BalkanInsight.com, "...ingrained attitudes among the public leave Albanian gays and lesbians on the fringes of society. They face intolerance, physical and psychological violence – often from the police – and discrimination in the workplace." The result is frustrating and risky for LGBT citizens who want to move ahead to a progressive "Gay Life in Albania" of better human rights but are caught in retrograde religious (Muslin and Catholic) opinions and resistant old traditions. Add to these the ever-present hostility of neo-Nazi extremists who fight any effort of gay Europeans to display Pride in public. The new new Albanian anti-discrimination legislation is intended for joining the European Union, whose members are required to adopt comprehensive anti-discrimination legislation. This received a big welcome gesture from humanists but angered the homophobes. So Albania is making strides to emerge into the 21st century while most people are rural poor who know little more than their own potato gardens.
