    Queens silver jubilee we were in a pub in Strood ,Kent.
    Needed a flag to fly on the day, June 2nd.
    One of my locals said he would get me one from the ship yard where he worked, he did a White Ensign.
    Flew that all day in the pouring rain, same as coronation day rained then.
    Still have the flag.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    If you hear a knock on your door and and older guy is standing there asking for help you will know why it is, I used spell check for my post as I couldn't quite remember ie or ei and I couldn't be bothered to open a draw for an old letter sorry.
