#11 John S. The dew- point set the little wheels going. If I remember correctly the air inlet temperature on a four stroke diesel engine had to be above the dew-point. If moisture formed on the valve it could lead to corrosion and possible cause failure.

To add a little levity, and the people up North need it, A cow was washed 136 kilometres down a river there, a picture showed it standing in a filed looking like she had won an Olympic swimming gold.
Her I see the snails are starting to climb up my trees not a good sign, as we are 2,000 feet above sea level and on a hill.

    Hi John
Funny thing is we have never had any trouble with snails since we have lived here, all of a sudden the buggers are everywhere, must be Queenslanders, pity I'm not French.

Now this has got to be true aussie stupidity that I saw on the box. A bridge in the town was flooded each end isolating it and trapping motorist and horses on it. At one end the water was getting deeper and submerging the last cars on the bridge. Get this the oncoming lane had no cars on it so what the feck where they thinking? That they could be hit by oncoming ducks. I know that I would have been quick in swerving onto the right hand oncoming lane and taking my car to the top for sure. Nice to see that those died in the wool climate sceptics are still bragging that the majority of us have it wrong. No good pointing out the holes in their arguments as would get more sense out of a plank of wood. Good to see that those on site have not been affected or if so probably not able to communicate on site but here is hoping that all are well.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

There have been warning after warning and you still see these brainless twits driving through the water, so it is only three feet deep in places, but they don't know if a manhole cover is off, then clunk, the number of cars abandoned with their hazard lights goingmakes one wonder at the drivers ability, I doubt anyone would run into the back of them.

No matter how may warnings, how many changes to speed limits, dangerous conditions that are so bloody obvious there are still the brain dead who think that is not for me, only the others.

It is impossible to legislate for such idiots.
