    Default Bbc

Interesting article in the Sunday Mail, large majority want a referendum on how the BBC is funded.
64% are against the licence fee.
BBC (my opinion) programmes are rubbish, there is the odd gem but few and far between.
On Christmas day the programmes are dire, with majority a repeat of last year.
Do you think BBC is good value and should it pays its own way in the world?

The BBC in my time at sea were very well respected, the only thing we had really was the BBC world service, but those days are gone. Now with extortionate wages paid to the likes of ex footballers etc, they are a disgrace . When you have a system of a few feeding away at the top, and if money becomes short , there is an easy answer, put the fees up, kt

    BBC is rubbish
I have not paid my EXTORTIONATE Fee yet
I keep getting letters off them, I am waiting until the end of the year. Not paying for something I havent seen.

Their demands could teach Al Capone how to get money out of us.
A stupid footballer gets 1.4 MILLION POUNDS A YEAR,, Disk Jockeys Half a MILLION POUNDS a tear

Pensioners paying 179 pounds a year OR ELSE.

Australia has the ABC, a nestbed of socialist left wing commentators and reporters who will always have an anti government spin on everything.
I will never forget when a reporter was giving a report on a John Howard press conference, and was asked by the studio presenter, "and what didn't the Prime Minister say?"
They are funded by taxpayers to the tune of a billion dollars a year.

Our ABC also has an aptitude that most do not have when it comes to a news broadcast.

They can take the smallest item of news and turn it into a full length feature film.
But if an item of news about the current Liberal gov they will go to all extent to find a Labor opposition member to tell you what the gov should do, even though they have no idea what to do.
We have no license fee here, just as well because no one would pay.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
