Our uniforms would take hours to clean to some acceptable level, and would stink for weeks. Cows are a pain in the ar**, and stupid with it. Just as an aside, we had a call to the back of the Wight to a cow , trapped up a tree!!, the daft animal had fallen down a steep bank and into the top of a tree, with the aid of tractors and fork lifts, and strops, plus use a chainsaw to clear the branches, we got the animal out, and it survived, and was happily chomping grass 20 mins later
