Give Canadian wines a go Lewis. Some really good ones from BC.

Some say the best thing to come out of France was a fast road, but they do have good cheese.
For some reason never a lover of them, apart from my mate here, so what is it that makes them so disliked?

Re: U.K., USA and Australia
3 men are walking on a beach, a German a French man and a Brit, the find an old can and stat kicking it, suddenly there is an almighty bang and a bright flash.
A voice is heard I am the genie of the lamp, you are granted three wishes for freeing me your wish is my command.
The three of them have a conflab and and agree that each will have one wish.
The German Looks at the genie, my wish is that Germany becomes all powerful, there is a flash and the genie replies your wish is granted.
The Frenchman, loos at the genie, I wish France to be impregnable with high walls surrounding that no one can get in or out, aa brilliant flash illuminates the sky, and the genie replies your wish is granted.
The Brit looks at the genie and after a whiles speaks, you will grant me any wish I desire-yes was the reply.
In that case flood France to the height of the wall, your wish is my command.

The only argument of the ancient system of monarchy in the UK is that they attract tourists. France is a Republic.
It is reported Andrew is still hiding out in Scotland.

#136 hope he’s wearing a Stewart tartan Louis , maybe the French may reclaim him to replace Bonny Prince Charlie , who spent years in that country probably promoting their wine, maybe ,perhaps, hopefully. To be truthful think he is a victim of the media and an avarice female looking to retire in comfort. If he was a commoner he would attract no attention whatsoever . We should all thank whoever is sitting in the chair that we are not worth the effort of getting money out of . Most of us would probably say we didn’t get our moneys worth and want a second go . Cheers JS
