Tommy Steele was for a period in the Merchant Navy and also besides his Singing Career was with a Skiffle Group as well in earlier Yeras

I know he was a member of the MN also, part of his movie. Of his life up until then. He took the leading role in the picture himself so wasnt a very long movie as he hadn’t had a long life at the time. Think it may of been called the Little White Bull. Cheers JS

I wasn't in a skiffle group, but when I was on the NZ coast I was in a few shuffle groups, that's when we used to shuffle out of the pickup room when an old rust bucket was picking up a crew.
