A number of people in Nottingham have been caught by the Police and given the £10,000 fine, no one has enforced or sought payment, so there is no deterrent.
    Fine the maximum.

Apparently, Elderly Britons are REFUSING to take Pfizer's Covid
vaccine because they'd rather 'wait for the English one'

    Side effects ?

Pfizer wouldn't be a problem, made in Belgium and already like chocolate

May be wary of the Chinese one, as don't fancy eating rice every day

Would try the Cuban one, as it may improve my salsa!

Settle for the Oxford one and probably speak the Queen's English

It is amazing how the numbers change according to who is telling.

On SBS news each night they cross to London for the latest.
According to the reporter it is one in 75, though you claim one in 50.
That is one of the problems, no one is telling the truth about any of it.

I think that if we took the politicians out of it the crisis would be over a lot quicker.

I and n todays news they caught up with the subjects in this post and severely punished them.[ Tongue in cheek]

A group of 11 men who drove 150 miles (240km) from London to the Peak District have been fined for breaking Covid-19 rules.
Derbyshire Police said the men were travelling in three cars when one vehicle crashed and overturned on the A6013 near Bamford on Monday evening.
The men, from Harrow, were each handed £200 penalties for travelling between tier four areas, the force said.
One man was also treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Police added they seized one of the three vehicles, which was uninsured, and the driver was "sent home on the train".

On this little Island (IOW) it s running out of control, apparently we are being infected above the National average, and being warned that the next two weeks, when the figures catch up from Xmas, will be even worse. I am battened down here, nothing comes in to this house without being swabbed in bleach water, including letters from the postie. The problem i have is my very good neighbour, dying from cancer, with little time left, as i got into bed at 11.15 the phone rang, and he had slipped out of bed, and she cannot lift him, the ambulance quoted 2 hrs as not life threatening, so myself and wife went across the road, and helped to lift him back in bed. Of course that is against the rules, but i was happy to take the chance and break the rules, kt

I can't understand why the British people are so stupid with this covid, they must have lost all their wartime pull together since joining with the EU. Here in Sydney people were told to wear masks, there are 5million people in the city area, and there were only around three people fined, everyone wore a mask, and Sydney has a huge, what one would call foreign population, so that can't be the reason in the UK.
