Re previous .. why not mermaids ? I worked for a Fremantle company called Mermaid Marine , never heard anyone complain about sex discrimination there. Maybe the Bible should be altered as God refers to the human race in the masculine , so instead of God created man , should read God created man woman and can’t make up their minds.

#1: Seems to be here also.
Apparently, the Royal Navy is to replace 'seamen' in rank titles and ban the use of 'unmanned' and 'manpower' from vessels including HMS Queen Elizabeth.
Another meaning to the Cockney - would you Adam and Eve it?.

Maybe while they are at it , maybe the old police constable would like a change of title , as his initials show the stupidity of people in general. JS

Re: It never ends.
Den mate, if they really want to go gender neutral al they have to do is get in touch with some Ex UCL crew.
They were great at it, could give some great ideas for a new name.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: It never ends.
Thats how firemen became firefighters, some years ago. i was not against women joining the fire service, as long as they were fit and strong enough to do the job. We had several pretty young girls who joined, and complained bitterly that the breathing apparatus was too heavy for them to wear, that was just too much for me, luckily i retired shortly afterwards, kt

Re: It never ends.
Maybe have to change the wording in the Bible also “ And God created man “ to “ And God created man, woman , and others who can’t decide what they are “ . Cheers JS.
