Re: tv licence fee.
Here in Oz no such thing, though years ago there was but was dropped as it is hard to check way out in the bush if Charlie has paid or not.
But with some of the crap on now they should pay us to watch it.
The ABC is now only an advertising site for the Labor party, the commercial stations keep interupting the adds with bits of a stupid program, and we havea channel just for the Abbos, most on whom out in the bush do not have a TV.
Thankfully we do have NETFLIX which at $10 a month is bloody good value.
Occasionally we get some UK progs which are always good, Vera is coming with a new series.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: tv licence fee.
They should employ people for reasonable wages, not the superstar money some get for once or twice a week appearances, there are many competent people out there who could do just as well for a fraction of the cost.
We never hear about them taking a wage cut, in fact they increasing some peoples money in some cases just to be politically correct.

Ivan, I would pay a good bounty to see Kong have a bloody good rant with his neighbours. I could see no holds barred and i think the dark chappies would come of worse.
