Re: International Express March 11th. 2020.
One airline here has run out of sanitizer for seat backs.
It has resorted to using small bottles of Vodka to do the job.
Our super markets were stripped bare yesterday when one Sunday paper put out a very stupid message on the front page.
Sock up with two weeks groceries now!!
Panic set in and they went mad, even in the war people did not act like this.
But if you are a senior are disabled you will be able to go to your local Woolowrths between 0700 and 0880 hours to stock up.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Trouble is John that Woolworth's and Coles forgot to stock their shelves, and the poor buggers got up early for bugger all. How many elderly people will be buying rubbish they would never have bought just to have something to eat isn't good news for the hospitals.

Re: International Express March 11th. 2020.
Des we have two of them in town and I went along for the ride.
Did actually manage to get a few bits, but Thursday will be the best day as there will be a big stock up Wednesday night.
But it has been fun going to see the empty shelves, watch the people fighting over of all things dunny rolls, some one has a room full of them.
But in one shop we had a good laugh, some 'Asian' lady had a trolley full of washing powder, soap, dishwashing liquid, and I mean full way over the top.
A staff member made he put 90% of it back as we all watched, you only need for one she was told.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: International Express March 11th. 2020.
Remember Black Adder, I have a cunning plan. I have had a bit of a persistent cough since the bush fires. I will wheel our trolley into Woolworth's talking in a loud voice to my wife, "I can't get rid of this bloody cough since coming back from China, I will just have to go and see the Dr for a test." That should get us a few toilet rolls, that is if people are not using them all up as they run out of the shop.
