Unless the law has changed in the past few years, you don't get done for not having a licence, it is an offence to watch TV without a licence.
Say you have a baby sitter and they are watching TV, and you don't have a licence, and the licencing authority knock on the door, babysitter gets done for watching TV without a licence, not youas home owner.

The chair of BBC says if license goes so will the children's programs.

I fail to see that as they will continue to show live from parliament!!!!

Same here in Oz, our Always Biased Company are busy making docos about the fires and any thing else that will scare the crap out of the uninformed.

I do hope the little lass does her homework before she starts preaching to us, Sweden's contribution to wind farm electricity is 6.5Gw, the other Scandi countries are even less, the UK capacity is 22Gw with two of the largest offshore fields in the world one on the East coast the other on the West coast of the UK

Pay for TV you must be joking. The last time I saw program that was not a third time repeat was around 1990, 85% of our viewing now is on DVD. Even the quiz shows now are repeats from three years ago, the participants are all now on the pension.
As for being charged for using the computer how can they charge you twice, you have already paid your sub to the company you are using.
