Ignorance
I watched the Alan Carr TV quiz programmer with clebs last night.
Question, "which European City hosted the Eurovision Sing Contest Finals in 2019".
Answer," Tel Aviv".
Last time I looked Tel Aviv and Is real were part of Asia.
Why can't they get it right?
Vic

Re: Ignorance
I believe the contest is named
after the company rather than

Re: Ignorance
34 ASSOCIATES IN 21 COUNTRIES
Associate membership of the EBU is open to broadcasting organisations or groups thereof from a member country of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) outside the European Broadcasting Area which provide a radio and/or television service with a major role in national broadcasting and whose membership is deemed useful for the EBU.
Despite not being European, Australia have been participating in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2015, when they were invited to compete to celebrate the contest's 60th birthday. The official line is that Special Broadcasting Service (SBS), an Australian TV network, had broadcast the Contest for a number of years and the organisers EBU thought it might be nice to get them involved.

Re: Ignorance
So there you have it Vic, don't forget Earl's Court used to be the capital of Australia, which may be another reason why they can compete.
