red funnel ferry
The ferry was delayed yesterday, due to losing its anchor as it approached Cowes harbour ???, the hull was inspected for damage by divers, which may suggest she was well underway when the anchor was let go, and ran over the chain possibly ?, we won't know until after an enquiry i suppose ??, divers have been sent down to retrieve the anchor. Seems strange to me that this should happen, and don't know if the chain was let out as well, kt

Re: red funnel ferry
Human error maybe?
But could have been far worse, recall the ferry where the doors were not shut prior to sailing with catastrophic consequences.
Happy daze John in Oz.
