According to the Independent online the Gibraltar Courts have ordered the release of the impounded tanker, there have also been assurance given that she will not discharge her cargo in Syria.

Re: Grace 1
You can imagine the crew's delight, when they heard the anchor chain coming up, not quite believing it, then slow ahead and the thump of the screw in the water and sailing away from the politics, for a short time anyway. Lets hope the crew of the Stena tanker can enjoy the same feelings in the not too distant future

Re: Grace 1
At present according to its AIS data it is still at anchor in Gibraltar bay. Before it's arrest it was listing it's destination as "MEDITE".

Re: Grace 1
Renamed the Adrian dayra1 she has left Gibraltar for a port in Greece, kalamata. Bit strange that as cannot find any reference to an oil refinery or any oil related business there.

Re: Grace 1
I read somewhere that Kalamata was an ideal are to transfer the oil to another ship, but who knows ? with all the false information floating around us in different forms these days, you have to treat all the info with a pinch of salt, kt

I tread in the paper she was anchored awaiting a crew change, Master + 6. Might look a little suspicious to some ???

Re: Grace 1
According to the news here in Oz a new crew and skipper have been put on board.
Where she goes from here is any ones guess.
The Oz gov is sending support ships to assist in the protecting of the straits of Hormoz.
