Re: What to do with the world's tankers
Apparently, five armed Iranian boats attempted to storm British oil tanker in the Gulf hours after Tehran threatened UK ships - but Royal Navy frigate 'trains its guns on them' and repeled the attack

Re: What to do with the world's tankers
The trouble is that this is two nations spoiling for a ruck, unless there is some moderation by both sides, ie USA- Iran, this could get out of hand, and then watch the fireworks. Most of us who had any dealings with this area of the world, knows how fragile any peace is. kt

The IRG is a law unto itself and has its share of fanatics; it only takes one loose cannon to kick it off and they will be feeling peed off
that HMS Montrose made them back off, it's good to see we are being vigilant.

Re: What to do with the world's tankers
This post has nothing to do with troubles in the gulf, but what to do with old tankers instead of wrecking them.Go to BBC news then find BBC Future and article is titled"How to rehabilitate old supertankers".
I couldn't add the link.
Very interesting story and nothing to do with gulf troubles.

Hi John.
Only the British and Americans are allowed to do that.
