All the best Fouro , if I’d known would have rolled up at the p*** up. Although think the beer gives me cramp these days, so prefer the big W. Only another 16 to go and you may get a card from King William , unless have all been swallowed. By Europe. Will soon know. Belated greetings. JS
Hi Fouro.
Belated congrats on your 84th, still as young as you feel; and as fresh a a daisy.
Cheers Des
We have some of the worlds toughest gun laws here in Oz.
Yet only last night in a major shopping center six shots were fired at a couple of men.
One injured the other escaped, the gun men are still on the run.
The problem we have is that there will always be a section of society who will live and die by the gun for what ever reason.
They do not care for laws, rules or anything else, all we can do is hope that they keep all the arguments between themselves and not involve nay innocent person.

Whenever anything is banned, it drives that commodity underground be it drugs firearms or women’s cosmetics derived from dead animals. There is a big black market today on drugs, if one wanted rid of all the drug barons all would have to do would be to legalise drugs. However it would be pointless as would finish up with half the country as dope heads. The shortages during the last war showed this, although most of the country was living day to day on lack of nutrician , if you had money was available on the black market. Even though the penalties were much higher than what they would be today . They still existed. Gun laws make a lot of criminals rich. Shootings will still carry on no doubt. Changes in the sale of firearms will not do much more than appease some consciences . JS
