Word of the year for 2018
Just before this year ends in WA a bit of useless information to go out on... Webster’s Dictionary have come out with the word Nonophobia. Supposedly to mean the fear of being without your mobile phone. I don’t have one so I am ok. Happy new year in 10 minutes the Eastern states had theirs hours ago. So by now should be well sobered up...pigs might fly also. Cheers JWS.

The Sydney display was again one of the very best.
cost £3,000,000 for 12 minutes , the man said on TV. excellent show. No alcohol was allowed on the State owned land. and one and a half million people cheered. So it only cost £2 a head to see it live, plus all the TV Stations world wide.

Re: Word of the year for 2018
Hi John.
There is hope for us yet. A 69 year old Dutchman has asked the courts to let him change his birthday back to 46, he said it gives him a better chance at meeting women of a younger age, he will save the Gov't around 400,000 Euros on his pension, he says that he knows if he is successful many young school leavers will want to change their ages to the pension age, but that those mad changes is what is being allowed to happen these days.
Cheers Des

Hi John.
We were only saying yesterday our son is only a few years of his pension. I wonder if the Govt will double ours when that happens.
Cheers Des.
ps you were lucky could watch the fireworks without staying up until midnight, we were in bed by 10-30.

Perhaps the guy that made the sign for the Sydney new year fire works missed having a beer or two. Still an amazing display as always.2018oz.jpg fire works.jpg
