Re: new passports
So a simple solution is for De La Rue to price match or did they perhaps think it is a done deal and got greedy?

Re: new passports
Just sent but didn’t make it.... ghosts or forgetfulness ????? The last time I renewed my British passport had to send to New Zealand if I remember correctly. The Australian one goes to Canberra up until last time it was renewed. If British ones being printed in Holland how are you going to pay, pounds or Euros, or maybe they are after the contract for money printing and putting in a bid against the Bank of England. If so youlll have to hold up to the light to make sure they have pound written on and not Euro. JS

Re: new passports
It shows the written word is sometimes misconstrued, when i said might make a few laugh, i was not really talking about us in the Uk, and certainly won't be a laugh for the people of gateshead. There will be a lot of anomalies such as this until we can finally disconnect and untangle ourselves from Europe, kt

Re: new passports
JWS, Gateshead is where the factory is John, employs 600 people, so they will not be best pleased, As the £ is good value against the Euro, strange that it should be awarded over there , kt

Re: new passports
Sorry got our lines crossed thought you were referring to the payouts and dispensations passed to the migrants. never knew there was a place in Gateshead for the other. wife came from there and now granddaughter lives there in an apartment on the riverside where the old Spillers granary used to be. Took grain there a few times in days of yore as probably others did on site. Cheers JWS

Re: new passports
Maybe just to keep them sweet until we are away from it. I see today the 27 get to vote on the latest negotiated deal, could be interesting. maybe the German Empress of Europe will have to use her big stick to bring them all in line, kt
