Re: Pipiriki
The Pipiriki, was in Melb. with us .(Cragmoor,) Mid-April and again, round -about September-Oct. 1950.
Good happy Crowd , to meet ashore ,from Her.
Later a similar ship the Ashburton , was there ,round the same time.
Though Memory plays Tricks. Always remember the Funnel Markings ,as" The Hungry Goose Line" (Trinder -Andersons)
Do recall, the Crew would refer to it as ",The P.eye -P .eye . R eye K eye.

Re: Pipiriki
I did one voyage on the Paparoa sister ship to the Papanui and the Pipariki. All 10,000 tons with accomodation fopr if I recall correctly 8 passengers. general cargo with some refrigerated holds. Good ships with a good company, enjoyed my time with them very much.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Provisions.
Number of A.B's. out of Avonmouth, ,making . A Third and fourth Trip. Very Popular Bos'n. Irishman, .Married and living in S.Sheilds.
Jimmy Milburn .? Think. Company Man ,anyway.
