my gran had tripe and onions regular ....she poached it in milk with a little butter and pepper ....it was one of my favourites ...sadly it was the cause of many deaths as it could easily slip down your throat and choke you ....i enjoyed it until the offal stopped selling a few years ago....but it was a good meal in those days ie 50s and 60s
