Suggest Brian you keep it away from Cappy as he may beging to make a comparison with Mary's wooden one. But on a seconmd look I can see why, there is a strong resemblance.

If the day ever comes Brian gets fitted with a wooden leg, it's a certainty it will become infested with "woodworm".

Re: Kong is back from Tahiti.
No problem with uploading Pics to Site Brian ,but as for avi Files I think that you may jave to get a third party first,ie upload to YouTube first then you can just post the UTube link which will work.
The other Files that don't upload must be types that are not permitted on site!??
Cheers

Re: Kong is back from Tahiti.
After sailing from Raiatea we arrive in Pape`ette, in Tahiti, [ Pape`ette means Water Basket in Polynesian language,]
My friends Stan and wife Eline were waiting for us to land.
After the usual kissing and rubbing noses we got into their car and then took off for a tour of the hills around town
They showed us a statue of a froggy French man covered in graffiti and other crap, Pierre Loti who was in the Government who took Tahiti into frog land.
As it was coming onto lunch time I told him I would treat them to lunch at Captain Bligh`s` Restaurant up the coast, that is where they treated us ath their wedding, beautiful place built over a lagoon with views of the mountains of Moorea nine miles away.
When we arrived there was a Tahitian ukelely band with a beautiful Wahine singing, so we stayed for over six hours, A large jug of Hinano beer was ordered and the wine etc. An excellent meal and I even ended up dancing with Anne, first time in a few years. So we had a great time.
The boss of the Captain Bligh`s showed us a big picture of Captain Bligh that had been presented to them 18 months ago by the Great grt grt grandson of Captain Bligh, Maurice Bligh, He had signed it. very interesting place.
Later that evening they drove us back to the ship. and as usual a load of tears, The Tahitians always weep when saying good bye, little strange when big Stan is hugging me and weeping on my shoulder.
We sailed early morning across to Moorea only 9 miles away to Opahuna Bay, sometimes known as Bounty Bay as that is where most of the films of the `Mutiny On The Bounty` were filmed. Beautiful place.
We met up with Jocelyn an old but beautiful Polynesian lady we have known for several years and she took us to a beach where the was a lovely old restaurant we had been to before. Again it was packed with the froggy French who were spoiling the view, they are moving in every where . The Polynesians are not happy with them
There will be BIG trouble in Polynesia one day.
Here are some Grass skirts , we had a big show in the ships theatre of Tahitian dancing, beautiful show.
catch you later.
Show of Tahitian Dancers, Stan, Eline and me and Anne and Captain Bligh`s picture presented by Maurice Bligh his great grt grt grandson to the Restaurant . it needs to be turned up, don't know why it went on its side, Hie singed the picture.
Every time I click on the thumb nails the screen goes black so cannot see the photos.
