    Well what can i say the weather was not the best but the warmth of Vernon,Irene ,Roger Pauline and Richard ,Margaret they are very lovely people .These people made me very welcomed and i would just like to say thank so much for making my visit most enjoyable.This would go down in my memories like my trip to Liverpool were i also met some really lovely people thats what this site is all about comradeship .
    Vernon as the Merchant Navy in is blood he is very dedicated to this great site this may sound i am trying to be to (i cannot think of the word )to explain my feelings .
    Now Vernon a cracker on the computer,also a very good cook but he cannot play crib thank you

    You also nearly had me bring hooked on those scratches,haha.
    I actually got Ten Bucks. Again n one of the tickets,so its ff to the News Agent again,fr another two. Lol
    Damn!!!!!!!

    Lou my friend it was more than a pleasure to have you,and we honestly enjoyed your visit .
    Who knows at some stage I may make a trip over there too????

    And once again thank you too fr the gifts and your generous contributions when going out etc.
    It was just such a pity that we never had better weather,but as you said we cannot control that.

    You take care now,and be good I will sit and practice the Cribbage !!!!

    When i mention that my visit to Vernon and Co i said it would be one of my memories like Liverpool i should have my trip to Southampton and George and Colin is also one i liked .My ambitions is to meet as many people on this site as possible and if anyone ever comes to Dunedin they are most welcomed to my home . The board is very cheap ( bottle of Gin would do )joke

    Lou you obviously had agrteat time even if you did not get to Kings Cross. good company, good beer and food what more could one ask for. It is good that those of the sea who have never met get a chance such as this, so sorry I missed you at Christmas.

    Just had a pm from Lou telling me how much he enjoyed his trip,I was joking with him before he went about having a few pints of John Smiths when he was there anyway he said at the BBQ Roger gave him a can of John Smiths which was most enjoyable.
