What a great trip Brian. Hopefully next year we can hook up in San Diego? The William Shakespeare beckons!

Re: Kongs trip around the world 2014
I figured, what am I saving up for at my age. ?
My mates have worked and saved and now because of ill health cannot travel, just stuck at home.
A funeral today of a friend of 74 years, since we were 5, he has had altzeimers and in a home for the last 9 years and so never did anything, a tragic waste of life. My mate Fred, his wife is suddenly , out of the blue Terminal, cannot go on holiday, saved up all his life and cannot spend it. a million things can and do happen.
get it all spent. I do not want to die with money in the Bank. it is mine, Not the kids, mine. if the kids want money they can work for it.
So I am enjoying it until the money runs out. then I can just sit in the garden for nothing.
Cant starve with a pension.
Cheers
Brian.

What an absolutely great set of Posts here Capt
You as always sure have a way to put your trips on paper and make them so very interesting!
I have loved each and every one of your Travel Experiences you have put on here, not only this one but others as well.
It was certainly great to see you once again with Anne, and of course Roger joining us as well!
I know that Roger will agree ,as I say it was our pleasure to try at least to do something small for you both!
Again I take my hat off to Roger for his great gesture towards you,i know that it was a great help!
Well that's yet another one done Capt. and I know there will be more to come!
If I cannot make it over there at some stage,i am sure we will again have the pleasure of your company in a few Years time!
Now don't forget though that the next visit here to Aussie, you and Anne must make for a wee bit of time with Irene and myself here in the Mountains!
As you know there is plenty of room for you both!
All Meals etc too free of charge mate!
Not a Hotel by any means but its home!
Roger will have to come up here too with Pauline so we can all be together!
Take Care sat a fond hello to Anne for me!
Thanks also once again Capt. for those nice little gifts o the UCL. Really appreciated that!
Cheers
