    Default Memory

I was at sea for 11 years and each year i kept a record of what ship I was on what part of the world I was,at times it is nice to look through the diaries for a bit of nostralgia, trouble is their are a lot of squigly lines I had made in the diaries,I can only guess what they mean.
Any one interested regarding the Robin the steam coaster built 1890,on completion of her overhaul she will be lifted on to a pontoon then she will be towed to London where she will be used as a museum.
Way back in 1950 I was on a same type of ship called SS Yewtree for 10 months,a great experience.

    Default Good and bad!

    Hi
Yes its so nice to remember the days gone by,and its just a pity that i suppose many like myself didnt do the same thing regarding keeping a Diary of all the good and bad times and places we have been to!
Although a lot of us of course can remember many times and places,i know there are gaps in ones mind that slip away, and thats a great pity!
But having said that i am one (like others too)that does remember most of my younger years and the wonderfull times and experiences that i have had in life!
Yes nostalgia is the name of the game, and what would we do without all that!
Keeps me sane at times i am sure!
There are those times that one just sits and drifts away to far off places, and things we did,and then all of a sudden Wham!! you are back in your Lounge Chair! Damn!!! haha!
    Oh yes life is great!
    Cheers and thanks

Seems strange now, i can remember things that happened 30 or 40 or even 50 years ago. But ask me where i put that pen i was using 10 mins ago and i draw a blank.

It's known as short term memory loss,Taff. It happens as you start to get more and more ancient. It happens to me all the time,I'm actually positively Antedeluvian. What were we talkinhg about?

Taff mate you are in a bad way, you loose your pen yet can still draw a blank. Though must admit you did not say a blank what?
