The very odd thing Victoria about the early Uni nurses training was the hospital time they did.
Two days a week at a local hospital from 10 in the morning to 2 after lunch. Real hospital hours.

Now it is a four year course and the third year is a full one in a hospital working normal hospital hours including time in emergency.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Believe there is a new breed in hospitals today, the old matron and sisters seem to have different job titles today , the nurse was the hands on person for every dirty job going, now they have assistants. My sister doesn’t talk too much about past patients etc. but think she would be lost today if thrown back into the system, she’s too old anyway. Age has its privileges. Like me sitting back here watching others cut the grass. And 2 minutes walk to the pub. Only 1 if I run. Cheers JS.

Just so we don't get bo**ocked for going off track, lets say it's all in a 'days work'

    Hi John.
One minute and twenty two seconds, was that for one step?

Work is good for the soul said one man, do not recall which though.

I have never had a problem doing a days work, but some of the younger ones today are very selective in the kind they wish to do.
Then there are those who no one would want to employ anyway, far to disruptive in the work place.
