Incredible, I was there in 1962 aboard the "Brisbane Star" my memories were wet, cold and miserable! Union Castle Line met many engineers at South Hampton Tech. who sailed on its ships and were more than happy to spread their wings no further. Me after Blue Star I went with L.O.F an engineers company and sailed with them until I came ashore in 1969.
