Was sitting in a bar in Times Square, in the mid 50,s and a guy walked in and asked us if we were English. We said yes and he bought us all a beer. After he had gone the barman asked if we knew who it was, nobody knew, that was Ed Sullivan he said. As if we knew at the time. Bill Wyman and the Rythm kings is always a good gig. Saw them at the Sage Gateshead a few years ago, twice actually, Georgie Fame on keyboards, great nights.
