Re: Birthday song...............
Many thanks, Ladies and Gentlemen for your kind Birthday wishes.
Today I got the reports of my health after three sessions this week, it is my annual check up.
blood tests etc. etc
I am still a superfit hero.
EVERYTHING is in very good condition. from top to bottom, inside and out.
I guess I am still lucky.
In my time I have been bombed, shot at, had Meningitis, cholecystitis, gangrene Gall bladder, Pancreatitis , legs broken three times, arm broken due to falling off masts, five broken ribs, fractured skull, and more than 120 stitches, two malignant melanomas, eight operations in hospital.
survived two drownings by being rescued while mate died. and a few other incidents.
So to be fit and healthy after all those at 84 is not too bad,
Today I had a good work out in my home gym, Exercise bike, Dumb bells and Bar bell. do it every day, I stopped smoking 30 years ago in August and cut drinking. Today just had two glasses of white wine.
So cheers to the next 84 years .
Thanks again,
Cheers
Brian.

Re: Birthday song...............
Hi Brian.
Hope your birthday went well, [off line yesterday] years don't matter as memories keep us young, which you still are. My 87th next month.
Went to the Dr last week, after he finished he said , "Your amazing I get young people in here who are not as fit as you." for me that was a great complement. Keep on sailing mate.
Cheers Des

Re: Birthday song...............
Greetings and salutations Brian , as I write this I see you in my mind's eye on the day the QM!! arrived in Melbourne . We met appropriately at the Pier Hotel for a snort on two . You had a twinkle in your eye and a healthy glow to your cheeks and by the sounds of it still going for gold . Good on you mate.
Cheers Neil .
