    Just some of many achievements:

For What?singing? in my mind demeans the honour for my aunt Johanne Cloherty (and others) who received it for being in the French Resistance and at one time being part of De Gaulle's security team. She also Ferry piloted Spitfires, Hurricanes and Halifax aircraft, spoke fluent French, quite a character, but could be a pain in the ass at times, especially with overbearing local authorities.

If I needed to would look it up and find out, but as it is an old Birthday post not that worried.

Certain whom ever decided, for whatever reasons.

    C'est la vie.

    Shirley Bassey - Dommage Dommage

    (Too Bad Too Bad)

1967 Shirley Bassey recorded and released this song on her 1967 Album Titled, 'And We Were Lovers.' As this song is a beautiful French Melody, I've included Pictures and Video of France as a background. Also, included are Scenes from various Doris Day romantic comedies, as well as a great Rock Hudson and Nancy Walker Dance Routine that is hilarious. I hope you enjoy this wonderful song as recorded by Shirley Bassey.

    hi ivan cloherty
women such as your aunt where too easy over looked after the war and i think more should have been done to honour their efforts during the war years, instead we have fictional characters brought forward by the looney left and right wing to give the public a false impression of the life of such woke and politically correct persons,?
instead of the real heroes like your aunt, and like eleanor wadsworth whom flew spitfires and hellcats from factories to active airfields during world war two. i note that eleanor wadsworth aged one hundred and three and according to the daily mail she has now passed away.
goodbye and god speed eleanor wadsworth.
