    Very apt Chris.

I live in a very small village in North Wales pop (Voting age) under 400. My wife and I voted at 11.00am and the station was crowded, on chatting with the voters we didn't find one person who was voting to stay in.
We will know tomorrow morning though lets hope its OUT of the EU.

Lets hope so John but I have a nagging worry that the Remain crowd with all their dirty tricks, will just beat us.

    And the anthem for today........

To the tune of ten green bottles,

Two party leaders voted for Remain
Two party leaders voted for Remain,
But when one party leader chose to abdicate,
    There was one party leader,
Kicked out by his mates !

lets make no bones about it some very hard days ahead but we british are at our best with our backs against the wall and we will make our country great again. the air was sweeter this morning I was up all night watching the results come in now its time to sort the men from the boys in industry parliament and the legal system here making and reinstating laws of great Britain we have a few bad years to come but we will overcome. now watch Europe start collapsing from within Scotland has always done well being part of great Britain and hope it will always be with us not for the sake a womans ego we don't want boarder control in the north of England so she should be careful what she wishes for I do hope not.. jp

I like Scotland but haven't been there for ten years or so.
Did any of you do a school trip to Hadrian's Wall ? I do remember it as being, well, er ,just a wall really with a few assorted outhouses and Roman khazis every few miles. A biting wind and sleet from the Arctic direction ensured we all had a thoroughly miserable day, especially when we found the souvenir shop was on half-day closing and we couldn't buy our replica plastic Roman helmets and Cleopatra keyrings. My life has been full of such disappointments.....

Yes,just imagine a new border- Hadrian's Wall would be enhanced by barbed wire on top and a few red-faced,ginger haired men with machine guns wearing funny skirts. There could be retail outlets like Edinburgh Woollen Mill where I could buy a few replacement sporran tassels.I'd give the Bagpipe Concert Arena a swerve as they don't agree with me.Bagpipes give me goose-pimples and play havoc with my tinnitus. To round off a perfect Border Crossing day I'd pop into The New AD 122 Restaurant and have a steaming bowl of Cock-a-Leekie or Cullen Skink ,a big plate of neeps and tatties,a clootie dumpling for dessert, all washed down with lashings of Ir'n Brew (I'm driving).
Yes,I could get used to that..Better not forget my lovely new blue passport.
