Re: A Special Song For Today - UK Referendum Day
Tell them if they go to North Shields and if any trawlers in with the letters SN plus the number on the side I will put in a good word for them that is of course if they are up to it. It does take a bit more intelligence than sitting on their rear ends sitting in a cosy parliament with all its amenitys. JWS

I was 71 on the 23rd June, Thank you all those who voted Birtex, you really gave me something to celebrate. I don't understand Londoners, they say they love Democracy but only when it gives the result they want. There will be a lot of my fishermen relatives in Cornwall getting blasted on this result.
Re: A Special Song For Today - UK Referendum Day
Has traces of Hitlers form of leadership, when he couldn't get his own way past I believe Bismark, he burned down the Reishtieg ( spelling wrong). The clutter of dis-satisfied voters blocking the airways are only those unwilling to accept the majority ruling. If they want advise which I am sure they don't, they should apply for citizenship of whatever beloved country they want to belong to in the Euro zone and leave Britain for the British, is as I said in the days to come the media will be showing every dis- satisfied block head. Belated happy birthday Jon V. Cheers JWS

Re: A Special Song For Today - UK Referendum Day
There is one thing if your PM and his retinue feel as though they have to resign as having no substance in the eyes of the majority, they will have plenty of time to read and ponder on Brians letters and emails, and no doubt many more like his, and once again realize they are there for the country and not their personal aims in life. I often wonder how these people when producing a CV ever get employed. See also Mr. Brain box Bliar is having an input and advice into the result, one does think immediately of rocks whenever his name is mentioned, maybe he sees a way of re-entering the big house to gain leadership of a once proud party, so again he can continue with his shenanigans as believe he was one of those helping to build a so called impregnable castle in Europe. Makes one want to spew. JWS

happy birthday Jon, think it was a birthday present for most of us here. Would think in London there are very few real londoners, mostly its the finance sector who will be mostly from other countries anyway, London is actually swarming with foreigners, kt
Re: A Special Song For Today - UK Referendum Day
now I know why there was not an extra box for in/out on the ballot papers in the election in case article 50 came into fact and the conservatives might not have got Mr Cameron into number 10 crafty move we may have had another election and a different government today? out is out.. jp

Yes,and it's the same for those who would like a Second Referendum- and a Third ,and a Fourth---until they get the result they want. It's true they are mainly Londoners.
I was a Leaver of course, but if we had lost then I'm pretty sure I would have accepted the result, and just let the winners get on with the important bit of getting on with political life in the interest of stability and unity in our country.. That is called democracy I believe .
