burning discs
my grandson charlie is burning off some cd discs for me ......i have chosen most of my favourites up to date......one of my favourites is the liverpool anthem .......but going on u tube i cant find a good bass singer with backing that i have heard in the past ....so come on scousers which is the best ......not the fans singing cos thats not cleanly audible......regards cappy

Don't know whether you like Elvis or not, but his version of the song is pretty good. Not sure whether it is on UTube though.

Cappy, I do a great rendition of the song with a few ales down me, But being the Geordie boy you are surly you will want this in your favourite's I love this guy singing this song Regards Terry. Just like the Mersey is rising again, I hope there is a future for the Geordie Boys on the Tyne it holds many happy memories for me.

thanks for that terry ...that is on my list ......when it opens and shows the steamboat pub that was were we took the examiner for a pint after getting our lifeboat tickets 1960 .....the ship at the begining is the leda ..the norsky mailboat......my granda after a lifetime at sea very little in the way of pensions went fire watching there at 70 plus ......some good river sites ....i have n old mate in the south we visit once a year ...i took him that song when it ist came out we were supping and talking about old times ....we had tears inour eyes ....nothing to do with the beer .....john sabourn will like the video thanks cappy.......ps the river will rise again ..........................when the the tide comes in
