Vernon, that is all very nice to view, but do me a favor mate, keep it up there.
We get enough of the rough stuff down here without any more.
When the rain hits our kitchen window I know it is from the East and straight from your neck of the woods.
Added to which it is always the worst rain we get.

We had deep fog this morning, would you like some, sure we could organize to get it to you up in the mountains.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Victoria, Melbourne is well known for four seasons in one day.
In fact in mid winter you can even get all four bin one hour somedays.

But then in summer it can be like an oven, then the humidity and you think you ae in Bali.
Yes we have it all down here south of the border down Mexico way.

Now that would be a good idea here Yellow Painted Guide Lines! I think i may just write in a letter about that ! Mind you i will ask for Flourescent Yellow!

Down here in Cooma in the deep South we have, surrounding the town; one of the longest creeks in Aus, so every bleeding morning we have fog rising up off it, if the sun comes out great it is gone by 10AM if no sun 1pm, we are lucky as we do get a lot of sun, just look at the dirt that was once grass. One lucky thing is Cooma sits in a bowl so any strong winds blow over the top, it's been lovely down here what with the isolation. But I have just received a e-mail blurb from our idiot local MP telling us that the lock down is being lifted, and joy oh joy and stand by for all the clowns from Canberra who will be down in their huge SUVs skiing shortly, but the locals are crafty they know how to use the roundabouts to their advantage, and if we go slowly we can laugh at the miles of Canberites stretching back to the Alps. nasty aren't we.

The Tassie ferry currently runs from Station Pier here in Melbourne, during the summer season there are hundreds of caravans waiting by Sandridge beach to load.

But now to protect the citizens of Melbourne from the Tassie hoards from later this year the ferry will sail from Geelong, some 90 Klm from Melbourne.
Now we will get our beach back

Could well be des, bur no, it has more to do with Station pier now being able to take more cruise ships.
When the ferry is there only three can dock at one time, now room for four.
