St Georges Centre just outside the historic Dockyard
Dock Road, Chatham, Kent meeting up at about 1130.

    Post MN Day Melbourne.

Hi Alan, down here we try our best and in Melbourne to the best of my knowledge little is recognised on a church level or for that matter in the RSL.However a few of us will do our bit.
    Best regards Neil.

    Default Merchant Navy Day

Ok Neil, good stuff. As long as we keep remembering. Its the thoughts'' as they say . I may be wrong but the churches here in the uk may not be up front regarding the day. The St Geoges Centre is actually the offices for Medway Council where we dedicated a wall plaque to all warlost Seafarers last year. The Medway branch MNA has a padre as I expect others do. Our group has also arranged for the Medway Council to fly the Red Duster on MNday from now on....Warm Regards Alan..
