Birkenhead
Read online that Birkenhead will have a museum of the Battle of the Atlantic complete with a Uboat.
The museum will be completed and opened by 2026.

Re: Birkenhead
Thing is Vic they tried and failed several years ago when they had the Historical Warships based in the East Float docks.
The U Boat is still there but has been cut up into sections that is still a visitor attraction, think it is now located at the old Woodside ferry terminal. Perhaps they are going to develope the muesum here as the ferry no longer operates from Woodside!! But I believe when they get the new ferry being built at Lairds this will operate from woodside landing stage.

Re: Birkenhead
Don';t let our PM find out about the U-Boat, he is after anything that floats to fend off those dastardly Chinese, at least for the present it depends now which way Trump jumps.
