That wind farm is one of the largest to be built in the north sea when it is completed. It is going to be serviced from its base in the port of Tyne with it's control base built on what used to be macnulty's yard.

Those pictures were taken early this morning from the vessel IWS SKYWALKER, by my son who has been working on that project for over a year as construction supervisor in the Abel yard in Hartlepool, with spells offshore to cover for holidays or manning shortages; as far as I can recall he has a contract for about another two years.
