Am I right or wrong
Am I right or wrong in my thinking.
The UN is trying to arrange salvage of the vssl 'Sounion' off the Yemeni coast to prevent it sinking off the Yemeni coast to prevent pollution of the fishing grounds. It was the Yemeni Houtis who attacked the vessel in the first place and have since boarded it and tried to set in on fire, they failed. (aka Torrey Canyon many moons ago),
In my opinion you reap what you sow, let the bloody thing sink off the Yemeni coast and then they may not be so glib at trying to destroy innocent MN vessels going about their lawful business.
Or let it pollute the Saudi Coast, then they may get off their backsides and do something serious to the Houtis instead of just paying lip service,

Re: Am I right or wrong
The attacks on shipping by the Yemini Houthis is a direct consequence of the genocide taking place in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. The world watches on as innocent Palestinian men, women, children and babies are killed daily by IDF forces with their homes, hospitals and school's reduced to rubble.
The Houthis have said the attacks will stop when a peace deal is signed. Pressure by world leaders could end this war but none are brave enough to step forward.

Re: Am I right or wrong
Yemini Houthis, puppets of Iran, as are Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Hamas did not do themselves any favours when they executed 6 Israeli hostage's this weekend.
That just gave Netanyahu a lot more ammunition to contine the genocide against the people of Gaza.

You reap what you sow Louis, had Hamas not launched their attack on Oct 7th, then Gaza would not be in the position it finds itself.

Re: Am I right or wrong
The general population of Gaza and the occupied West Bank did not take part in the Oct.7 attack. Israel declared war on Hamas not on the civilian Palestinian population. Collective punishment was carried out by the Nazi's in WW2 and declared a war crime and a crime against humanity.

The people of Britain did not invade Germany either but those who did , did so with the best regards of their success by the people who agreed with their objects and targets. JS

The Yemini rebels have been fighting Colonial rule since the 1950s and long after Britain gave up Aden as a protectorate . They are too willing however to join the mass exodus of the other inhabits on the continent of Africa and park themselves in more salubrious countries with free board and lodgings. JS

In the news today.
Thousands in Israel marching against Notayahoo for his refusal to sign a peace deal and for not brokering some way to bring hostages home.
His popularity is now at rock bottom.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Families sheltering in the rubble of their former homes, terrified screaming children waiting for the next bomb or missile to fall. Denied food, water and all basic rights. Who are the terrorists?
