I'm interested where I might find his records after 1926. He still has the profession of "sailor" on his 1936 wedding certificate. 1929 is of particular interest. I think I may have tracked him down on an electoral census as living in 42 West India Dock Road, Stepney, London. Right next to the docks. He doesn't appear in 1928 or 1930. Is there anywhere I can locate records for that particular year (1929) to see if it is him? Thanks

Re: 1929 Merchant Seaman
As you have found that info on FMP, is there no CR1 with it as well?
Besides that , have you looked and applied for his full Service Record through the NA Kew??
If it exsists may be found in CRS10 Series! That being BT364 ???

Re: 1929 Merchant Seaman
I notice that there are 2 listed at FMP, one with the Number 914033 (BT350 ) Born 1895 and the other 914333 ( BT348) Born 1894 , wonder now if the same Person! , Must surely be as both Born Dublin!
May be an idea to get to the NA and search yourself in the following!
Reference: |
BT 350/1 |
Description: |
Surnames A to Z (fiches 1 to 2932): includes supplementary listing A to W (fiches 2933 to 3098) |
Date: |

Held by: |
The National Archives, Kew |
Legal status: |
Public Record(s) |

Would also look in this Series while there
