The ferry M V Glen Sannox has departed the fitting out berth at Ferguson Marine, Port Glasgow. She sailed from the berth to the Tale of Bank under own power, a tug escorted her.
She will carryout a series of builders trials, then dry Dock for a hull clean.
After dry docking she will then carryout a series of trials over the measured mile.
She is six years late and hundreds of million pounds over budget.
Her sister Glen Rosa will be launched next month.
