Thankyou for your question,but the vessels in question are made of concrete in the first place.

#32 or indeed a porcupine ship could be described to use as a description especially in Drydock when all the wooden Stubs were visible sticking out of the shell plating , which preceded the cement box put around this stopper. JS .

I spent almost 25 years in the fibre-glass building of yachts from 22 to 57 feet and as I recall there were amateurs building cement sailboats in their backyards but they never gained a foothold in the industry.
