Default A Game of Birds and Wolves

If you haven't heard of it, this book, A Game of Birds and Wolves, is a superb new take on the history of the British response to Nazi U-boat tactics in the Battle of the Atlantic.

Most of it was all down to a team of Wrens, many only in their late teens.

Post #1. I haven't heard of the book. The Western Approaches Museum part of the https://liverpoolmuseum.co.uk
A programme shown earlier this year covered the part the RNWS played as WARGAMES.

I recall that not to long ago there was a documentary on television regarding the work of those young WRENS but cannot recall the actual name of the program or what channel.

Sorry not a documentary but an ITV interview with one of the WRENS who helped to locate and sink the Bismarck, there is a UTube video on the net all about it.
