Re: Titanic
Latest news is a submersible has gone missing at the site of the Titanic. Personally i think the Titanic to keep her dead in respect, and ban the diving on her.

Re: Titanic
Oh dear, Perhaps Captain Smith has had enough and decided to take a few more to add to the tally. Time that type of tourism was stopped. Hopefully those in the sub if any will be rescued.

Re: Titanic
It would have been cheaper to have sailed on the Titanic than the submersible, if they paid the reported two hundred and fifty thousand to go down there.
Maybe the Atomic submariners should ask for a pay rise, for risking their lives.

Re: Titanic
I just wish that everyone would leave the Titanic alone.
What is with the morbid curiosity of people to want to go snooping around it.
It is a grave for heaven's sake, so just leave it alone.
Callous as it sounds, I have no sympathy whatsoever for the 5 people lost in the submersible this week.
$250k each to wander around a dark vessel which suffered a horrendous collision with the loss of hundreds of lives ...
gawking at a tomb containing all those lost souls ... morbidity at its worst.
Let's hope the disaster this week puts people off taking tours 4 kilometres down forever.

A comment from the guy who has done so many trips down to her and brought up artifacts.
'She should be left to fade away and regulations need to be brought in to prevent any others going there.'

Re: Titanic
#26 The easiest way of doing that would be putting the insurance rates up that high and that it would be too expensive to run. If they tried to get round that by not being insured then bring in a law that they had to put up collateral before making any dives to cover all expenses caused to all outside rescue services military included for a total loss of vessel and passengers . This may happen in any case through the normal processes . JS
