    Hi Cappy.
According to a British news item here, 29% don't want him and 40something % couldn't care less. Me I'm going out for a fish and chip dinner.
Lol. I sincerely hope you enjoy the spectacle, after all they say it is going to cost the public 100 million pounds, cheap at half the price as they say.

I wouldn’t put much faith in figures given out by the British media e.g. are they allowed to give the percentages of those percentages were given by non authentic British born and bred citizens, i very much doubt it as today people are accused of racial bias on the least excuse , people are scared to open their mouths unless they agree with the Great horde of unwashed humanity mostly those seeking a country to park themselves , and then proceed to cause any mayhem they wish knowing they are safe due to the stupid laws a lot of ignorant people have allowed to take place.
Somewhere sometime the real residents of countries are going to have to get back into the driving seat and take back control of their own destiny., JS

Like many on here i had watched the Queens Coronation so many Years ago, and what a Spectacle it was, with all the Pomp and Ceremony etc. it was something to remember and one can never forget it!
Now i am still around (God knows how) to be able to again watch the King and his Coronation, and again i can just guess what a great event this will be.
I have always been a follower of the Royals and respect the Monarchy!
Missed the Coronation of King George V1 by three Years (but of course still would not have remembered LOL) .

So God Bless the King may he reign for many Years and carry on the great work that the Queen has left for him to do!

Like Vernon I too saw the original in 53, but as we all know remake soften do not do as well as the original.
I shall watch just to see how much has, if anything, changed.

As to Cappy putting all that out, just to keep the 'weird ones away'

As to us here in Oz.
A little know fact, but in 19717 an amendment to the constitution states that the Governor General will be considered as head of state.
Put there when Oz still used the UK passport, first Oz one in 1948.
As is the case with all Commonwealth nations, the crown now has no say in any laws passed by those countries.
The Monarch of the day no longer has to sign off on any new laws.
But out of courtesy and so the UK is aware of any changes a copy is sent to the UK office.
