#109 Des sitting on that same hatch the top tarpaulin would be the oldest of the 3 or 4 and more than likely you would be sitting on a canvas repair patch. If the mate came past and saw you sitting there he would probably run back into the accomodation and come back out with a bolt of repair canvas and twine and a palm and needle and say while your sitting there are a couple more patches required just there can you do while your gassing away.

Yes Des , a lot better thank you.
Watched the Royal Command performance over Christmas.
Saw William and Kate laugh at some of the stuff.
All I can say is they have a very odd sense of humor.
The whole show was crap upon crap served with more crap.

Why did Bruce Forsythe the not do it this year.
He was always very good at it, must admit first one seen for many a year.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    John
I was watching this **** program on TV when my wife came into the lounge and said what are you watching that S%#t for, I said what is it ? she said the Royal command performance, I said that it was so poor they must have had to pay for it themselves and being short of money got all the crap performers. Nothing like the old times.

I don't share your enthusiasm for this guy, he's a climate obsessed, globalist who has done nothing useful for this country, ever. he once said that we should have MORE ****** teachers. I think we all know where that would lead nus.

He follows the Climate Change cult, for that is what it is.
SE now have a number of polis who are advocating we must switch from gas to electric for all heating and cooking.
    Sounds fine, but who pays?
Then where will the power come from?
Batteries they say, yes one now in the south of the state, biggest there is will give 300,000 homes power for 2 hours and 8 minutes.
But we will of course continue to sell coal to China and Gas to any one who wants it.
Got to get to net zero by 2040, bloody big dreamers the lot of them.
There will still be conventional vehicle son the road then.
But one company is now investing in Hydrogen driven trucks, someone with some sense at last.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Need to do something about the climate. There was a Tornado in Stalybridge two nights ago highest recorded gust was said to be 160 mph, but that was reported by the Sun or GB news more reliable media outlets report 100 mph. A Tornado in the UK is a rare thing.

In 2015, scientists at the University of Manchester mapped the UK’s tornadoes and estimated that the area from Berkshire into London had the highest likelihood of a tornado - one every 17 years. Most of the tornados we get in the UK are small and don’t have much impact, but occasionally they can be big, as was the case in Birmingham in 2005.

I think hydrogen vehicles would be the way to go, but will they be as profitable as EVs?
