Seafarers Gathering / Armed Forces day Glasgow Saturday June 24th
Details
You are cordially invited to join other seafarers, Merchant Navy, Royal Navy, Fishers, and your families.
This weekend marks International Weekend of the Seafarer and on the 24th of June, Armed Forces Day is marked with an event in George Square.
Time
The Merchant Navy will participate in this event commencing 10:00 George Square Glasgow.
Dress Please dress respectfully. This is the Battle of the Atlantic 80th anniversary, some may wish to pay their respects at the cenotaph in the morning.
Harmony
There will be fellowship and harmony afterwards, inviting you to make new friendships and renew old ones with other seafarers. Your hosts are Glasgow Merchant Navy Association. We look forward to meeting all seafarers, all ranks, serving and non-serving to spend time together and celebrate what we have in common.
Harmony location
Times Square Bar and Diner, St Enoch Square Glasgow opposite the underground.
